Suresh Tumula is originally from Kalahandi in Orissa. He is a Banker by profession, but his passion lies in social work. He was known to be a bright child who excelled both in academics and in extra-curricular activities. Extra-curricular activities included debating, extempore speaking, and rifle shooting. It became his forte when he was an NCC student.

Currently, he works as a Treasurer Relationship Manager at DSB Bank in Delhi. Suresh Tumula runs an NGO parallelly which aims at providing sustainable livelihood to the lower and backward classes of the country. Suresh Tumula also likes photography and writing about current affairs.

He was one of the 16 final contestants in the Swayamvar Season 3 – Ratan Ka Rishta. Suresh Tumula believes that individuality is a vital factor when it comes to marriage.

Unfortunately, Suresh Tumula could not make it to the finals and had to leave the show.
