The plot revolves around Faisal ( Adeel Hussain Adeel Hussain, a man with many great talents, hail >> Read More... ) and Ujala (Amina Sheikh). Faisal is an investigative journalist working on a land mafia investigation. Faisal and Ujala receive a call from Faisal's boss on the night of their wedding informing them of Ali's death, a cameraman working with Faisal on the case. The goons behind the land mafia stop their car and kidnap them on their way to the hospital. A gangster rapes Ujala in retaliation for reporting their illegal activities. When Ujaala becomes pregnant as a result of the rape, problems arise between her and Faisal.

Ujaala and Faisal initially believe that Ujaala should abort the baby, but Ujaala later believes that abortion is wrong. Because of this, Faisal and Ujaala constantly argue, and Faisal eventually agrees. Ujaala gives birth to a son named Azaan. The conflict between Ujaala and Faisal persists because Faisal cannot accept Azaan but cannot let go of Ujaala because he loves her. Faisal continues to avoid Azaan, citing work as the reason. After four years, Azaan is four years old and believes his father does not love him. After an argument with Faisal, Ujaala abandons Azaan, leaving a letter stating that Azaan is now Faisal's responsibility. However, Ujaala later returns when Azaan separates from him due to Faisal. The police find Azaan and take him to his grandfather.
