Alex Kendrick, a film director, producer, and actor was born on June 11, 1970. He is a part of the Kendrick Brothers Association along with his brothers Stephen and Shannon. Kendrick was born in Georgia, Athens to Larry and Rhonwyn Kendrick. He spent his childhood in Smyrna, GA, and graduated with a degree in communications from the Kennesaw State University.
He went on to work as a Christian DJ for a couple of radio stations and went on to attend the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
