Lupita Amondi Nyong’o was the child of to Peter and Dorothy Nyong’o and was raised in Kenya. Her father who was a senator worked as a visiting professor in political science in Mexico City, Mexico. Jacob was born to parents, Rafael and Marti Jacobs, in the borough of Harrington Park in New Jersey. Jacob pursued his education at the Northern Valley Regional High School in Old Tappan.
