When the entire nation is lauding the maverick director “S. S. Rajamouli” for his excellent creation of “Baahubali,” a Punjabi filmmaker says it as an absolute crap. He says that the award-winning movie doesn’t deserve a national honor. Gurvinder Singh Gurvinder Singh was born in Delhi in a Sikh family >> Read More... , the Punjabi filmmaker, says that it is the worst decision of the jury to award “Baahubali – The Beginning” as the Best Film. The director says that the commercial films have grabbed all the major awards and the art films are completely omitted from the award list. Though “Baahubali” is the only regional film that bagged a big honor, other regional movies didn’t receive proper recognition, feels Gurvinder. It is interesting to hear that Gurvinder’s film, “Chauthi Koot” has bagged the Best Punjabi film.
