Padmashri Kamal Haasan Shows His Humanitarian Side Once Again!

It was rumoured last week that Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan Kamal Haasan is the most versatile actor that Indi >> Read More... had donated the income he got from doing a recent TV Ad to the Petraal Than Pillaiya Trust, a Trust which works for the rehabilitation of AIDS affected children. But the Trust denied receiving anything. It has now come out that the veteran actor has made a cash donation towards a good cause. Kamal Haasan, along with veterans Sivakumar and Manorama, was Chief Guest at an event put up by Cinema Journalist Association on 2nd October 2015.

Along with Sivakumar, he presented the Life Time Achievement Award set up by the Association to Pesumpadam Sampathkumar, Film News Anandan and Randor Guy who are senior film journalists. Other than this, Kamal personally donated 1 lakh each to 5 journalists from the Cinema Journalists Association and 1 lakh for the Association’s development.
