Nadigar Sangam has issued a statement that they support Jallikattu. The Nadigar Sangam states that each and every state has their own culture and tradition. Jallikattu is the culture of Tamilnadu. But, it has been showcased in a different angle. So, it is the duty of the state representatives to explain its tradition and advantages to the law and help them to lift the ban on Jallikattu. It is the duty of the elected representatives from the state to save the culture. The statement also specifies that everyone has the freedom to express their views. Actors and actresses who voice their views should not be degraded, says the statement.
