It is also stated that DMK leader ‘M K Stalin' will meet the protesters tomorrow. Now, the Marxist Communist Party in TN vested its support to the farmers and has announced that their party will be a pillar to the farmers’ associations protest. More than 350 farmers committed suicide due to the drought. The Karnataka government didn’t release water for irrigation and the Central Government didn’t provide the relief fund. Although various parties insist the Central Government provide the relief fund it agrees to give just Rs. 1748 crores for Rs. 39, 565 crores. G Ramakrishnan, the Marxist Communist leader condemns the Central government for their act and insists them to provide the relief soon.
