' is always busy with films and different aspects of film making. But he has made it a point to attend public functions which may not actually be concerned with the film industry. Just as his next film Thoongavanam is being readied for a Deepavali release, the versatile actor has agreed to attend an event organised to unveil the statue of CP Aditanar, the founder of Dina Thanthi.
The event will be held in Tiruchendur. Aditanar is responsible for inculcating newspaper-reading as a habit to the not so well educated Tamils by presenting news in easily understandable language.
Kamal has acknowledged many a times that Dina Thanthi contributed a lot in making him form the habit of reading, especially in Tamil. Kamal Fans Welfare Activities Association released a poster announcing the visit of the Ulaganayagan to Tiruchendur.
