Nalan revealed about few interesting information on Ka Ka Po. "When I was writing Soodhu Kavvum script, I had a chance to watch Korean movie titled "My Dear Desperado" and it inspired me instantly, and later it made me to feel like something and finally I'm remaking it as Kadhalum Kadanthu Pogum. Coming to Vijay Sethupathi's role, he plays a rogue while Madonna is an IT job seeker. The core of the story is "How the rogue and an educated girl falls in love". he ends with a surprise.
Actress Madonna was approached by Nalan's friend Alphonse Putharen (Premam director) to cast her into Kadhalum Kadanthu Pogum. Interestingly the movie will not consist any romance involved, and it will end when the romance starts between the lead roles.
