' is a well known director from Hollywood with horror movies like ‘Roadside’ and ‘Contracted’ to his credit. This Hollywood director was open in his praise for 'Nayantara's film Maya. He found the film to be cool and scary. “This film takes the best from other English films and blends it uniquely”, he said. Though it sounds like an open appreciation, from one person's view, it sounds sarcastic on the other side.
He found this film to be haunting, moody, and beautiful, with some really scary scenes. The acting was solid and the music and sound design were incredible. “Go check it out for yourself”, he says.
