“ Aari,” who had been very selective with his roles, has signed doing a film, which is directed by a debutant, “U Kaviraj.” The film titled Ellam Mela Irukkaravan Paathupaan is a science fiction thriller with an alien touch. Yes, an alien character is brought into the film. The director says that we don’t have much awareness about the aliens like in the US. The story is about an abduction incident made by an alien and VFX image is created for the alien. Aari plays an unemployed youth in the film.
Shaashvi Bala pairs Aari. Bijesh Nagesh, the grandson of veteran comedy topper “Nagesh,” plays a scientist. Ellam Mela Irukkaravan Paathupaan star cast has “ Dheena,” Naan Kadavul “ Rajendran,” Bagavathi Perumal, Kalakka Povathu Yaaru fame Sharath and Pazhani. The cinematography is by “J Laxman.” Karthik Acharya composes the music.
