Moderna Incorporated, the US Company had tested an experimental vaccine to a set of people and it is reported that the 8 people, who are under the test, show a quick recovery from the viral infection. The US government runs the testing and the company would continue further testing in a wide range. Following the initial success, the company’s shares in the New York Stock Exchange has gone up by 26%.
The researchers would explain in detail if the vaccine helped to develop the antibodies in the patients who had recovered after getting vaccinated. Stephane Bancel, Moderna’s Chief Executive Officer, stated that they would start the phase 2 trial shortly. The final trial relating to this will begin in July, noted the company in its statement. They would test it in thousands of volunteers in the third phase.
