Why Did Jayaram Turn Down The Offer To Perform With Rajinikanth?

“Jayaram,” the family hero has taken an action avatar with his “Satya.” His “Aadupuliyattam” with Ramya Krishnan and Om Puri is waiting for the release. Recently, Jayaram revealed the truth that he was the first choice of Mani Ratnam to play Arjun role in “Thalapathi.” As Jayaram was busy in Mollywood, he could not accept the offer to play the younger brother to Super Star, “Rajinikanth.” The epic movie had “Mammootty,” “Nagesh,” Shobana Chandrakumar, “Jaishankar,” “Geetha” and Sri Vidya in the lead roles. As Jayaram rejected the offer, the role was offered to Arvind Swamy, who portrayed a district collector perfectly. In fact, it was his debut movie. Similarly, “Ramji Rao Speaking,” was planned with Jayaram and “Mukesh.” As Jayaram turn down the offer, it went to “Saikumar” and the film was a super hit.
