The Singing Detective’. It shows the two characters talking through songs in the movie. There is almost a month of shooting to finish, and now there is another controversy.
The pair had already hinted at a large amount of songs in the film earlier. ‘The Singing Detective’ was an old TV series which was also made into a film in 2003 starring the ‘Ironman’ hero Robert Downey Jr.
The series was about how a writer hallucinates that he is solving mysteries with musicals and danger. The concept does seem similar, but maybe Ranbir and Kat can pull it off well, so no one notices the copy.
