Indian TV series is incomplete without stories and epics from Indian Mythology. The mythology and beliefs of India are like the soul of Indian culture and society. That is why mythological serials make an impact so successfully on viewers.
1. Ramayan (1986)
has directed so many appreciable serials, and Ramayan is one of the world’s most viewed mythological series. Even, the Limca Book of Records speaks about that. It is one of the best shows on Indian TV. In 2008 & 2012, two new formats were also broadcasted, but the first show is most famous out of three.
2. Mahabharat (1988)
has narrated the “Epic Mahabharat” impressively. This mythological drama ran on Indian TV screen from 20 October 1988 to 24 June 1990 on Doordarshan. The pair of father and son; B.R. Chopra and
have beautifully done the task of production and direction. However, another version of Mahabharat broadcasted in the year 2013, but the older one was the biggest hit of that time and got more publicity.

Sagar art studio produced and created a unique show named Mahima Shani Dev Ki. This show aims to eliminate myths of Indian society about Lord Shani. This educational show composed of the elements from Indian mythology, spirituality, astrology and humanity. plays the lead role.
The story revolves around the life of the son of Kunti and the God Sun; Karn. It is the character of the Epic Mahabharat aired on Sony Entertainment Television from 29 June 2015 to 7 August 2016.
