The film received various honours and awards, including best cinematography at the Vancouver Student Film Festival (2006), best-supporting Actor at the Vancouver Student Film Festival (2006) and the honour of being a featured video by CBC Exposure (Canadian Broadcast) 2007. Vikas Mathur is working for K Films and has helped in the making of various Telugu or Tamil films, short films and dramas shot in Switzerland, Thailand, and India.
