The Nandi Award winning child artist, hailing from Andhra Pradesh is familiar to Malayalam television viewers as their beloved “ Swami Ayyappan”. This talented actor was spotted by P. Suresh Unnithan, the director of the Serial during his search for the right face that had the same grace of Lord Ayyappan. By that time Kaushik Babu had already made his Television debut as a child artist in Telugu. He reached the living room of the Malayalam viewers as Swami Aiyappan, with his appealing stature and attracting eyes when he was in his tenth grade. He was born in Andhra Pradesh to Vijay Babu, who is an Editor in a prestigious Telugu daily and Sharada who works in Raj Bhavan.
He has also acted in many Tamil and Telugu Mythological Tele serials namely Lord Venkateshwara, Lord Vishnu, Lord Shiva and Lord Krishna. His portrayal of Adi Shankara in the Telugu movie Shri Jagadguru Adi Shankara in the year 2013 was well appreciated and well received. He believes that he is a director’s actor.
Later on, he went on to act in movies, as the lead in a Malayalam movie Nadabrahmam in which his acting was well appreciated. His other movies are Sami Manikandan in Tamil, Shirdi Sai and Pavithra in Telugu. He had completed a Malayalam movie titled White Boys directed by Melila Rajashekaran, which is set to be released in 2015.
He is Pursuing his B.com( Computer) along with his busy acting schedule. He is a trained Kuchipudi Dancer and also mastered western dance before entering the film industry. He was invited by the Andhra Pradesh government to portray Sri Krishnadevaraya in Kuchipudi, which he performed at Tirupathi and Hyderabad. He has a sister, Srutha Kirthy, who is a news reader in a famous Telugu channel.

Kalady Jayan is a Malayalam serial actor and producer. He is from the Kalady town in the Karama suburb of the Keralite capital Trivandrum. He studied at Mar Ivanos College in the city. He started acting in drama troupes, acting in plays. Jayan was once employed at a titanium factory. His first serial was Arogani on Doordarshan TV. He credits his roles as Nethradavi in the serial Swapnam (Dream) and K.K. Rajeev’s Purutam for gaining him recognition. His most prominent role in cinema, according to him, was in Sathiyan Anthikad’s Mazhavilkavadi, in which he played a corrupt cop. He is also fond of his role in Abhoorva chlavar (Some Amazing People), in which he played Hamza. Several films he has acted in were filmed at his thararavadu (ancestral home). Kiridam (Throne) for example was filmed on his property in Kalady. The houses of the film’s protagonists, Mohanlal, and Parvathy were in the immediate vicinity of his house. He is the producer of the Kairali comedy serial Ivide Ellavarkkum sukham (Everybody is Fine) which is directed by Unni Cheriyan and starring Anila Sreekumar, Anoop Sivasevan, Indulekha, Parvathy and Santhosh Kurup. Jayan also produces on behalf of PMI International, the drama serial Karyam Nisaram (It’s Simple). PMI Entertainment India Limited is Jayan’s private company for media productions. Based in Singapore, it has offices in 6 countries. Jayan is in charge of its South India operations. The company produces works in 8 Indian languages. He also inaugurated a short film festival at Government High School, Kalady, Trivandrum in 2014.
