Pallavi Subhash is a Marathi model turned television actress, born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Pallavi has done several Marathi films, television serials, plays and commercials. She gained her popularity after essaying the roles of Gauri Kapoor Meera in the Balaji Telefilms’ Karam Apnaa Apnaa on STAR Plus and as Meera in the Indian soap, Kasamh Se.

Pallavi studied BCom and aim to continue her studies to law, but she received an offer to do a play. She was debuted in the popular television series, Tumhari Disha on Zee TV. Ekta Kapoor spotted her in that serial and she was selected to appear in Karam Apna Apna and subsequently donned Kasamh Se. In 2008, she played as Sneha Ahuja on Sony TV’s Aathvaan Vachan – Saath Vachano Se Badkar and in 2009, the actress played the female lead role in the soap, Basera on NDTV Imagine. She played as Ketki Sanghvi together with Ram Kapoor. In 2010, she bagged the main lead role as Aastha opposite Shivam Agnihotri (played by Shakti Anand) in the drama series, Godh Bharaai on Sony Entertainment Television. But the serial was later pulled off air. From 2011 to 2012, Pallavi acted as Ananya in the television series, Guntata Hriday He on Zee Marathi. She also anchored the comedy series, Comedy Express on ETV Marathi. She also bagged the role of Rukmini in the mythological series, Mahabharat on STAR Plus, from where she gained more fame and success. Prior to this, she was also seen in the Marathi serials, Char Diwas Sasuche and Adhuri Ek Kahani.

Pallavi has donned her film debut through the Marathi film, Kunku Zale Vairi in 2005. She received nomination for Best Actress Zee Gaurav Award for her performance as Kamal Maane Patil. A year after, she acted as Nisha in the Marathi film, ‘Aaila Re!!’ under the direction of Deepak Naidu in 2006. She took a 7-year hiatus in doing films and came back with three Marathi films such as Asa Me Tashi Tu, Dhava Dhava Khun Khun and the Marathi romantic film, Premsutra opposite Sandeep Kulkarni in 2013. In the same year, she made her debut to the Kannada film industry through the film, Rascal and in 2014, she was also seen in the film, Om. Pallavi was also starred in the upcoming Tamil romantic action film, Sattendru Maaruthu Vaanilai under the direction of Gautham Menon. Recently, she played as Alice opposite Atul Kulkarni in the drama film, Happy Journey.

Last December 2014, the actress confirmed in an interview that her 8-year relationship with actor, Aniket Vishwasrao has ended; however, she is not yet ready to reveal the reason.
Pallavi started her career as a model and she has done various television ads including the 3 Roses, Lifebouy, Lion Date Jam and more. She received praises for donning the Cadbury ad campaign and later, she was called as the Cadbury Girl.
