Preeti Raghunandan is a Journalist and an Indian news anchor, she has been working in this field for 15 years. She started her career in 2003 with Punjab Today and gained a thorough experience in the field of journalism. After that she worked with other news channels such as Total TV, S1 TV, IBN7 and India News. Later she joined News 24 and anchored for the environment, sports lifestyle and fashion section. Preeti was born on 16th September and grew up in her hometown New Delhi. In 2012 she began working as an anchor on News18 and conducted interviews with several Bollywood celebrities, politicians and other renowned personalities, since then her role as a journalist expanded.
In 2016, Preeti received the Aadhi Aabadi award for excellence in journalism at News 24 and later received the Star performer of the year award. She has also hosted many shows such as Kachcha-chittha, Sau Baat Ki Ek Baat and Hum Toh Poochenge. Preeti has been a visiting faculty member at the international school of media and entertainment studies (ISOMES) Noida. She is also known for her heartfelt interview with the relatives of the Martyrs of Pulwama attack 2019, which became viral on social media.
