Darshan Rathod is part of the duo composers Sanjeev-Darshan, Sanjeev Rathod, and Darshan Rathod, both are sons of composer Shravan Rathod. He is known for singing in movies like NH 10 (2015), Talaash: The Hunt Begins (2003), and Suno Sasurjee (2004). Darshan, along with his brother Sanjeev, made his debut as a music director for a Mahendra Shah and Vimal Kumar movie that was never released. He, with his brother, created an album in Gujarati for the Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan in 1998. Yeh Raaste Hain Pyaar Ke, their first film album, was released in 1998. Indra Kumar collaborated on the composition of almost forty songs with the pair after being there for their first recording. He asked them to write the music for his 1999 film Mann, which starred Aamir Khan and Manisha Koirala.
