Plot

A team of gangsters enters a bank to rob. But they are shocked to know that the bank is already under the control of another guy. The cops couldn’t find the reason why the man had captured the bank, and they are taking further steps to figure out his motive. Did they find it? Who is behind the mystery man? Who are all accompanying him? Was he successful with his attempt? The rest of the film speaks about that.

Star Performance

Ajith looks super stylish. His dialogue delivery and body language are stunning. His beard look is just awesome. His action scenes and weapon handling are fantastic, as usual, and Ajith’s chemistry with Manju is amazing. Manju has done an excellent job and the way she handled the weapons looks as if she has been handling them for years. Samuthirakani is good in his role. The rest of the cast has done what is required of them.

Analysis

Yet another action film from Ajith and Vinoth for their fans. The first half is not only for pure Ajith fans but also for people who love a different genre of stylish movies. If the first half has Ajith’s swag, the second half has Vinoth’s swag. The dialogues are sharp and stunning. The action sequences and Ajith’s mannerisms are highly laudable. Thanks to Supreme Sundar for his excellent action choreography! Though there is a huge star cast, only a few stars appear on screen for some extended time. The screenplay is racy, and the BGM by Ghibran is fantastic. Nirav Shah has done a great job with the visuals, and the aerial shots are just awesome. Manju is a good choice, and she has excelled in the role well. Like “Valimai” for Huma Qureshi, It’s Thunivu for Manju Warrier.

Verdict

The mind game by H Vinoth is excellent. The first half is a feast for Ajith’s fans. The second half has Vinoth’s elements that attract not only Ajith's fans but also the general audience. Thunivu – The real Thunivu!
