Hailing from a Pashtun background, Momina Duraid was born on June 30, 1971, in Pakistan. She completed her Master’s in Business Administration from the Lahore University of Management Sciences in 1997. She got married to classmate Duraid Qureshi, CEO of Hum Network Ltd. The couple has five children. Her mother-in-law, Sultana Siddiqui, is the founder and president of Hum Network Limited.

A few years after she returned to television, she was seen anchoring a religious show entitled Ramadan and later returned to acting in dramas. Fazila acted on Hum TV’s Larkiyan Mohallay Ki and Geo TV’s Khuda Aur Muhabbat in 2011. She also hosted a cookery show entitled Dine in with Fazila Qazi on ARY Zauq.
