A phenomenal producer and a brilliant director, Momina Duraid is the woman behind the popular Pakistani television dramas Humsafar, Dastaan, Udaari, Shehr-e-Zaat, and more. Hailing from a Pashtun background, Momina Duraid was born on June 30, 1971, in Pakistan. She completed her Master’s in Business Administration from the Lahore University of Management Sciences in 1997. She got married to classmate Duraid Qureshi, CEO of Hum Network Ltd. The couple has five children. Her mother-in-law, Sultana Siddiqui, is the founder and president of Hum Network Limited.

Arjumand Rahim comes out as a most talented theater personality associated with TV in Pakistan. Not just as an actress, but as a director and a producer also she has been extremely successful, and has also been appreciated for her work in these areas. In that period she took part in numerous well known dramas, and the ones she remembers most was the role of Corrie Bratter in “Barefoot in the Park” staged in 1997, and the 1998 telefilm “Neeli Dhoop” on PTV. However, her first TV serial came only in 2004, after which she made rapid strides to gain acclaim and popularity amongst her numerous viewers. As is normal, in the beginning she had short roles or participated in smaller shows. 

She gradually went up the ladder of fame with the 2008 serial “Mai Aur Tum” in which she co-starred with Faisal Qureshi one of the most versatile actors in Pakistan. The way the pair gelled on screen was much appreciated by TV audiences, prompting her to take up role in a tele-film with Faisal Qureshi. The string of successes perhaps emboldened Arjumand to try her luck at the ultimate destination for all aspirants in the sub continent – Bollywood. Whatever the reasons, but her mission did not succeed and she was back in Pakistan with a renewed determination to reinforce her place in the Pakistan TV world. She now looked to set up her own production house Art Republik, which went on to produce the curious sounding “Shah Rukh Khan Ki Maut” which although produced as a digital format film only, has received appreciation for the boldness of its message. 

However, regarding her own possibilities of entering into film acting she rules it out, declaring openly her penchant for theater, and also expressing her disenchantment at the state of cinema in Pakistan. Zara Noor Abbas is a Pakistani actress. She was born on 13 March 1991 in Lahore, Pakistan. Her mother, Asma Abbas, aunts Bushra Abbas and Sumbul Abbas are also actresses. She graduated from Beaconhouse National University. She has also learned dancing, film design, theatre, and filmmaking. She participated in many dance competitions and performed in many plays. After this, she debuted in a tv serial named Dharkan. The actress also appeared in Khamoshi, for which she was praised a lot by viewers. Zara has worked in the following serials, Lamhay (2018), Qaid (2018), Deewar-e-Shab (2019), Ehd-e-Wafa (2019), Zebaish (2020), Dil Tera Hogaya (2020), Phaans (2021). Tahir Jatoi was born on 1st July 1978 in Karachi, Pakistan. He is known for his career as an actor and producer in the Urdu Film and Television Industry. Tahir has also written several dramas including Fatima Tanveer (2009), Meri Behn Maya (2011), Yaar-e-Bewafa (2017), and Ek Larki Aam Si (2018).In 2017, he wrote and played the role of Nawab Jahangir Rao in the Pakistani drama Chanar Ghaati. In 2018, he produced the film Maan Jao Naa. In 2019, Tahir acted in the television series named Talash and played the role of Dr.Sajid.Tahir has acted in several other Pakistani dramas named Garr Maan Reh Jaye (2014), Tumhare Siwa (2015), Aas (2019), Chalawa (2020), Raqs-e-Bismil (2020), Phaans (2021) and Neeli Zinda Hai (2021). Tahir has also produced drama series including Utray Ga Aub Na Koi Khizhar (2011-12).

Zain Afzal is a famous Pakistani actor. He was born on 23 January 1990. He completed his schooling from Lahore Grammar School. After this, he completed his further studies at Beaconhouse National University. He started his career with the film Zinda Bhaag. This film won many awards. After this, he worked in the 2015 movie Maya. He played the role of Sam in this film. He is known for the role of Taimoor in the film Sanwari. He was also invited to the celebrity talk show Mazaaq Raat in 2018.

Ali Tahir is a well-known actor in Pakistan. Excluding acting, he has also worked as an essayist and director. His father, Naeem Tahir, was also an outstanding Pakistani actor and composer. Ali Tahir's brother Faran Tahir is an actor too. In 1995, Ali Tahir started his journey as an actor. He appeared in Teen Bata Teen as Johny. In 2012 he played, directed and produced Samjhota Express. Ali Tahir played the character of Sajjad Mubeen. In 2013 he starred in the show Mohabat Subh Ka Sitara Hai as Waleed.

Sami Khan born on July 6, 1980 is a Pakistani actor and model. He has graduated from UET, Lahore. He began his career in the TV industry with the film “Salakhain” in 1998. He has enacted his roles in the movies brilliantly and thus got recognised in the Indian television industry as well. “Devar Bhabhi” was his Lollywood debut in 2013. He won the Tarang Houseful Awards for Best Actor in a Leading Role. He also won the PTV Best Actor Award for the serial “Ghar Ki Khatir” in 2011.

 Sami Khan’s most famous daily soap opera is “Love, Life Aur Lahore”. It is a Pakistani television serial which airs on A-Plus channel. Khan plays the role of Pari Paiker who is in love with a Hindu girl. The story is about their love story. “Meri Ladli” is another of his opera which is a Pakistani romantic drama serial which began in 2012. Khan plays the role of Abdul Hadi. It is the story about a young woman, Aarfah who elopes with her beloved, Sajid. The serial revolves around the difficulties they face. Thus, Khan’s work has been recognised and he continues to charm the audience with his marvellous acting.
