The series premiered on December 8, 2021. Bebaak revolves around the story of Wafa, a poor university student who wants to be wealthy, and successful. The story starts when Wafa gets a scholarship to a top university in the city and she dreams of becoming rich.

When it comes to Wafa’s family, her father is a gambler, while her mother is a teacher who works hard to make money. But Wafa ignores her mother’s struggle. Wafa goes to an interview for a job, and being hired. The story takes a turn when there are some more characters like Mesum, Shiza, Asad, Sunaina, etc. There occurs the marriage of Wafa with Azad, who was already married to Sunaina. Later Azad comes back to Sunaina. Meanwhile even the death of Wafa's brother also occurs, which was due to cancer.

Later, Wafa realises that she had a brain tumour. Will she be able to recover from it, or will it create a lot more problems? Let’s see in the next episodes.
