Yes, you got it correct the actor Smita Oak aka Rasika Tai of Pavitra Rishta got a limelight after this show which was produced by Ekta Kapoor and was aired on Zee TV. She is still remembered for her ravage character in the serial. She played the role of Mother of Manjusha who was the sister in law of the lead actress in the serial Archana Karanjikar aka Archana Manav Deshmukh. She was so disrespectful against Karanjikars that she never left an opportunity to insult them to the core and seemed cheerful when Karanjikars faced any problem. She used to bug in the ears of her daughter (Manjusha) and filled hatred regarding the main female lead.
She has also played the role of Vasudha in the famous serial named Me Aajji Aur Sahib which was aired on IMAGINE TV. This serial was based on the relationship between grandmother and granddaughter. As per the role, she wanted her granddaughter Megha to grow up as an independent girl. As a grandmother, she earned her living by doing household chores in different houses. Later on, she finds an appropriate job at Saheb’s place. Then the story revolved between the three.
