She then earned her college degree at Sapient College of Commerce & Management, Mysore. She began her acting career in television through Zee Kannada’s serial Paaru, portraying the character Ananya. Her performance in Paaru brought her into the limelight. Thereafter she was seen in the Colors Kannada’s Nammane Yuvarani portraying the lead character Ganga. Shivu is presently playing the lead character in the Star Suvarna’s Neenadena. Many believe that Shivu, the 21-year-old girl is a rising star in the Kannada television industry.
