Time Squad is a story on a satellite which revolves around planet Earth. According to what people say, the future Earth is a peaceful, ideal place, and there are no problems and fights there. Tuddrussel says that there is no pollution and no wars on Earth and that bacon is good for your health. Irrespective of this insight of the future Earth, the characters travel to the past planet Earth with the help of their space station where they live. They observe that Earth is not at all how they imagined it to be.
They see a prison for the people. This prison is very untidy and not updated. All this gets over to Officer Tuddrussel. He is a never-changing immature man. He is the senior officer of the station. He is not responsible. Several accidents were reported after he came to Time Squad Space Station. Larry 3000 is another partner of Buck Tuddrussel. He is a translating robot. Initially, he worked as a diplomat. Larry rendered after all the Nations of the World came together and merged.
Tuddrussel's sexist thinking mismatches with Larry's pretentious etiquette. These become the reasons for their squabbles. Both Larry and Buck made a defective team, as none of them had any knowledge about the history of Earth. Nevertheless, they see a ray of hope when they meet Otto Osworth. Otto is an eight-year-old orphan. He is a 21st-century history master. Buck and Larry add him to their team. Otto, unlike Larry and Buck, works very hard and is motivated to do his job.
The main issue arises when Larry and Buck refuse to listen to an eight-year-old's decisions and advice. In order for them to understand and give in their agreement, Otto tends to use tricks so as to complete the mission successfully. The Time Squad organization works to ensure that the future of planet Earth is protected and the history is conserved. Larry believes that time is like a rope. It means that some people made anachronistic and unusual choices in their lives, and that they will be unable to attain the goals that history portrays they attained. One example of this thought by Larry is explained in one of the episodes.
Eli Whitney failed in inventing cotton gin. He instead ended up creating flesh-eating robots. With a wish to create a thing which would be beneficial for the people and the environment, to defeat that flesh-eating robots will not do any good to the people. Dave Wasson explained that they start by understanding what a person did in the history, and how he contributed to the society. Then they try to find the strangest way in which he could have gone wrong.
