Rudra began his career in character animation after graduating from Heart Animation Academy. In 2013, Disney/Buena Vista International and Rudra Productions collaborated to broadcast the 90-minute anime Pandavas 5-P5, which aired on Disney XD and Hungama. He signed agreements with Disney/BVI and Discovery Kids using a combination of sound IP/product development knowledge and strong market insight. He was essential in the development of the intriguing new genre known as "Indian Anime." The Mighty Raju - Toofan ka Tadka, Tez Raftaar for GreenGold, Uma & Devan for Toonz in 2018, Jhol Maal, a "Home Alone" episode for Toonz airing on Sony in July 2017, and Tic Tac Tail - "Mouse in the House" for Maya Cosmos in August 2017, airing on Pogo India, are just a few episodes he has produced.
