Cyrus Sahukar was born to Behram Sahukar, a colonel in the Indian Army and Nimeran Sahukar, a Punjabi writer in Army camp at Mhow, Indore on August 6, 1980. he did his schooling  form St. Columbia School Delhi and started acting in plays at the age of six. He was also a good singer and sang for his school band. He was part of Senior Literacy Mission Programme in his school which performed one act plays and educational skits for prisoners in Tihar Jail.
