Plot
Pareshan revolves around the lives of a group of frivolous friends- Isaac, Paasha, Satthi, and Maidak residing in a Sangerani area. The group is infamous for doing nothing and causing chaos. Their solution to everything is excessive consumption of alcohol with no care for the world. The situation changes when Isaac’s father hands him a considerable sum. Soon, the bond of these friends is tested as money comes into the picture.
Satthi and Pasha get into trouble with the police and seek monetary help from Isaac. He readily agrees and they promise him a repayment. On the other hand, Isaac’s girlfriend finds out she is pregnant, and asks for his aid. They now need money for her abortion but have got none. Also, Satthi and Pasha are unable to pay him back and flee. The movie then follows Isaac’s struggles as he tries to resolve all the issues in his life.
Star Performances
Pareshan is a film that consists of several fresh faces in the cast. Thiruveer, who played the lead role, marveled at the audience with his presence. The portrayal of Thiruveer as Isaac, a carefree son who gradually turns into a responsible adult, was satisfactory. Also, the female lead, Pavani, managed to leave an impact on the audience in her limited screen time.
Analysis
Pareshan attempts to show a glimpse of rural life in Telengana but has failed miserably. The film’s script shows only aspects of this lifestyle, the excessive liquor consumption and meat eating. Somehow, it creates a false perception in the audience’s mind and spreads the wrong message. As an individual piece too, the film doesn’t score well.
The movie falters majorly with its plot execution and screenplay adaptation. The story hasn’t been presented in any order and doesn’t focus on one main plot. It attempts to explore many subplots like the different religious beliefs of Isaac and Shireesha, but no conclusion is given. Nonetheless, the cinematography is on point and realistically captures the essence of village life in these areas.

Verdict
Pareshan is a mix of a comic and a thriller piece. It delivers a miserable performance and leaves the audience dissatisfied. The movie can be considered as an average piece and lacks effort. To conclude, Pareshan can’t be categorized as a binge-worthy movie.
