Plot: ’s much anticipated Telugu movie Kick -2 has hit the multiplexes in Andhra. Industry people feel that this film will open up new franchise for Telugu movies worldwide, but as the second-half is too lengthy, people might not enjoy the movie as Kick. Kick 2 is the official sequel of the movie Kick with Ravi Teja in the lead role. The film was remade in Hindi with in the lead. The movie has as the female lead. , the main antagonist as the Thakur in Bihar. Brahmanandam, , , etc are in the supporting roles. The real story rakes off only after the interval.

The film promises lavish production values and some superb performances from the cast. The story is gripped around a Bihar village (Vilaspur), where the people lead a life of misery and they are looking out for a God- like person to save them. Here, Robin (Ravi Teja comes back to Hyderabad to sort out his land disputes and he falls in love with a writer Chaitra (Rakul)). Once a villager from Bihar spots out this beating a rowdy and he gets convinced that this is the man who could take fight against the Thakur. What plan does the entire village hatch to bring Robin Hood to their place is the story line. How Ravi Teja single-handedly takes on the high- handedness of an oppressive village head played by Ravi Kishan is the story to watch out! Overall, the film might take the cash register ringing. Ravi Teja excels in comedy scenes and action sequences. His stylish and lean look is too impressive in many scenes. Rakul Preeth will also please her fans with glamour looks. Ravi Kishan is simply good as villain. Bollywood actors Rajpal Yadav and made debut in Telegu with this film. Brahmanandam’s comedy is stereotype, but goes well with the plot and comedy sequences.

Cinematography and editing is up to the mark with the script. Music by S S Thaman is truly the asset for this masala movie, which people would love to hear. For cine buffs, the film is also like Mr Natwarlal, where Amitabh Bachchan’s acts as Mr Natwarlal, where he saved the village from the clutches of Amjad, a Robin Hood style drama. Here Ravi Teja’s shows his ability to save the people life in Bihar village.
