Plot

Siddhu and Anu are in love. Siddhu works in an IT company. He wants to surprise Anu on her birthday and make it a memorable birthday in her life. Siddhu and Anu met on a beach and decided to spend some time there. While they were on the beach having some romantic time, Madhav introduces himself as police. He asks them their details. Later, another man joins him. Then starts trouble in the life of Anu and Siddhu. What happened next? Who is Madhav, and why he targets them? The rest of the story deals with it.

Star Performance

Teja and Priya Prakash had done justice to the given roles. Ravindra Vijay excels at them and is in the talks of the people.

Analysis

The film is the perfect remake. Only a few scenes are changed a bit to suit the Telugu sensibilities. The characters are developed well. Yet, Siddhu’s character should have been shaped better. Ravindra Vijay's character is powerful and well-developed. The chemistry between the lead pair is not so impressive, yet they have done their part better. The film speaks about feminism and the injustice caused to women. But, they are not dealt with properly. The male ego is well showcased. The cinematography is okayish. The music is average.

The film started as a romantic film and travels as a thriller, and finally takes the audience somewhere, unexpectedly. If you want to try a film that doesn’t have a regular romance, go for Ishq.
