Apart from television, he has also appeared in Kannada movies. He shined in the television industry through his role of Gaurav in the serial Kulavadhu. After this show, he got lead roles in many TV serials. He also painted the serial Chittithall and acted in a serial based on a novel, Tell Go, written by Ravi Belgere. He made his debut in the Kannada movies (Sandalwood) with the film Kiss and is looking for more such opportunities. Suraj did his high school at SVM and pursued his bachelor's from Alvas P U College. On the personal front, he tied the knot with Suma, an MBA student.
