Kishore Tirumala

A screenplay writer who later turned into a film director, Kishore Tirumala is an Indian director working predominantly in Tollywood. His father used to work at the TTD (Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanams) where he used to discuss Kishore’s passion towards cinema with the industries’ people who visited Tirupati. Then he worked as an assistant director for a long time, after which he made his directional debut with the Tamil film “Pillaiyar Theru Kadaisi Veedu” which was released on the 24th June, 2011, starring Githan Ramesh and Sanchita Padukone.

The movie was produced by R.B. Choudary with Chakri as the music director, and the film was written by Kishore Tirumala and Nagarajan. “Pillaiyar Theru Kadaisi Veedu” was a simple yet an emotional family drama and the movie was also a comeback for Githan Ramesh after a break from his acting career. Unfortunately the movie didn’t have much response as expected from the audience.
