Harish Shankar

Harish is a well-known personality in the Telugu industry. He has played the role of a screenwriter, dialogue writer and director in his career spanning about 12 years. He met Harish on the sets of Veede (2003) where Harish was an associate director.

This followed with Harish’s directional debut Shock (2006) with Ravi Teja in the lead. Unfortunately, it was a huge flop. But his bad luck didn’t stop there. The next two films he had planned got shelved midway. It was Ravi Teja who signed for the second film with him, Mirapakay. The gamble paid off as it was a huge commercial and critical success.

There was no looking back after that. Apart from directing and writing, Harish has also given guest appearances, one being Ninne Istapaddanu (2003) which he co-wrote. He has no plans to turn into an actor as of now. His writing career has been hit-and-miss, but his direction skills have made him one of the top names in Telugu movie industry today.
