Babu Annur

Babu Annur is an Indian film actor. He is a theater artist too. He is also popular with other names such as C.K Babu. He is known for his significant contributions to the Malayalam Film Industry. He was born on the 14th of May, in the year 1962. His place of birth is Payyannur Kannur, Kerala, in India. He is an inheritant to his father,Kunjirama Pothuval, and the mother, Kodi Amma. He has two siblings, CK Thamapan and CK Ramakrishna. He ties his knot with his wife, Jyothi. He is involved in the theatres since the age of twelve. He started his career as a child artist. He has played characters in more than seventy plays.

He has worked in short films too. Such as Ezhamathe Chaaya Chithram, with Shine Mohan as the writer and the director. Babu played the lead character, and the film reached its excellence. Some of his movies are Mr.& Mrs. Rowdy, Uncle, Vikadakumaran, Divathinu Swantham Devootty, and many others. He is entitled to many prestigious titles and awards. In the year 2011, Babu was given the Kerala State Television Award for Best Actor, for his work in Divathinu Swantham Devotty. In the year 1998, Babu, for his play Kelu got awarded with Best Actor Award by Kerala Sangeetha NatakaAkademi.For his play, Agniyum Varshavum, he got Best Second Actor award in the year 2002, instituted by Kerala Sangeetha NatakaAkademi.
