Smrutika Panigrahi is an Indian-origin actress who predominantly works in the Hindi film industry. In 2015, she appeared in the film Bombay Velvet. Anurag Kashyap directed the movie and Vasan Bala, Anurag Kashyap, Gyan Prakash, and Thani wrote the storyline for the movie. Vivek B. Agrawal, Vikas Bahl, Pritam Choudhary, Prasanna R. Coodapur, Dina Dattani, Ainsley De Silva, Tanvi Gandhi, Madhu Mantena Varma, Vikramaditya Motwane, Malika Singh and Ranjan Singh produced the film. The movie's plot revolves around a courageous woman. Her name is Neerja Bhanot, she is an Air Hostess on a flight that got hijacked by terrorists. With her fearless spirit and braveness, she saved the lives of 359 passengers on Pan Am Flight 73 in 1986. But she lost her life while rescuing them.
