Jared Rushton

American actor and musician, Jared Michael Rushton, is famously known as Jared Rushton. He was born on March 3, 1974, in Provo, Utah, US. He was brought up in Los Angeles for a few years. His mother, Monica Rushton, has contributed to his successful life and career. Monica Rushton assisted Jared Rushton in the movie, ‘Big’. His one and only brother, Ryan Rushton, works for their band.

Jared Rushton entered the film industry at a very tender age. When he was twelve years old, he appeared in Tales From the Darkside, as Riche, which gave him a decent recognition. Later, he appeared in a few television shows like Cagney and Lacey, Top Kids, etc. This appearance and experience were the bases for his upcoming projects. In his career, Rushton's role as Tom's friend, Billy, in Big, is considered to be his luminous performance. He also appeared in a few minor roles in an episode of Murder, She Wrote. The audience well received his role in three episodes of ‘Roseanne’. Then, in ‘Honey, I Shrank the Kids’, he increases his huge fan base not just in films, but also in television shows. After this movie, he gave guest appearances and took minor roles in Midnight Caller, Haunted Lives: True Ghost Stories, Pet Sematary Two, and in the Bad Water episode of Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman.

Later, Rushton didn't appear on the screens much. He confined himself as a guitarist for the rock band, Deal by Duck. Before he used to work for the band, Withdrawal. For his acting career, he was nominated for two Saturn Awards and two Young Artist Award. Taking his personal life, he had full encouragement and assistance from his home to pursue his career in acting.
