Jake Bugg

Jake Bugg is a singer, composer, and musician born on 28 February 1994 in Nottingham, England. Jake birth name is Jake Edwin Charles Kennedy. His own album Jack Bugg was released in the year 2012, it was co-written by a famous composer Iain Archer. Jake released his second album ‘Shangri La’ in 2013. His third album is self-produced named ‘On My One’ released in June 2016. Jake parents were from the musical background, they got separated in his childhood. His father is a nurse and mother is working as a sales person. When his parents were together, they used to make recordings jointly. Jake started to play guitar at the age of twelve which was actually proposed by his Uncle Mark.

Jake educated in Clifton at Farnborough School Technology College. Jake’s inspirational people were Everly Brothers, Oasis, and Johnny Cash. Band Metallica is a huge influence for him to play the guitar at the age of 12. Jake joined music academy and continued till the age of sixteen, and then he dropped his course and began to compose his own songs. At the age of seventeen he got a chance to perform in BBC recordings at Glastonbury Festival, he submitted his works to their website. Jake signed to Mercury Records, his songs are placed on BBC Playlists. Jake was nominated for many awards regarding his amazing musical works within a short time, above all this, he got three awards one in 2013, and other two were in 2015 as the best male singer.

Besides his singing talent, Bugg also appeared in some television shows since 2012 to 2016 and he nearly performed sixteen small screen shows. Bugg narrated three albums himself that are ‘Jack Bugg’ in 2012, ‘Shangri-La’ in 2013, for releasing the third edition Bugg has taken more time but he got a massive response for his latest self-album ‘On My One’ in 2016. In one interview with Mr. Wavvy, Bugg stated that he want to release one more album, but he clearly declared that creation of new songs is a thing of beauty, it may happen anytime, which means we can’t expect things to rush or estimate a date beyond our creativity. Jake succeeded in a short span as a massive singer and artist.
