Aneek Dhar was born on 26th April, 1990 in Kolkata, West Bengal. He is a Bollywood entertainer, playback singer, stage performer and Zee TV's Sa Re Ga Ma Pa show's title winner of the year 2007. He is damn good at his vocals and when it comes to the instruments, he knows playing piano, Keyboard and Harmonium. He has been active in the Bollywood film industry since 2007.

Aneek belongs to the Bengali based Hindu family and his first step into the film industry was definitely because of his victory in the singing show. This brought many avenues for the young singer to inculcate his skills and sing for movies. In fact, he won the show with about 3.65 crores of votes. This would also include people voting from other countries which was very great. He got married to his very long girlfriend namely Debaleena Dhar on 1st December, 2014.

His debut album as a singer took its effect while he released his album Khwaishein in the year 2008. All the lovers of music across all the countries had an immense interest in this album and it had become a huge hit apparently. It got the Kalakar award for the best album in that particular year. This event had even boosted up his confidence level as a musician and his fame knew no bounds at all. He gained a lot of fan followers for his music and as a person he was adored a lot.

In the eve of the third quarter of the year 2010, Aneek traveled to New Zealand to do live performance in the popular stages. This bagged even more fans for him and for the music as a whole. He won the debut season of the most famous show in Bengali namely Big Boss. It grabbed him a cash award for about 20 lakhs rupees and this further improvised his confidence as a musician. Apart from albums, he also did playback singing for movies.
