Mangesh Kadam is a Maharashtra-based actor and filmmaker born on January 22, 1967. He is married to Leena Bhagwat, a Marathi play actress. For the past 30 years, he has committed his life to the theatre industry as an actor and director. Mangesh just resumed performing after directing several plays. He was recently seen in the drama 'Amane Samane.' "Adhanta was the play that gave me an identity in the theatre profession," the actor says of his favourite production.
Jadoo Teri Nazar, Soor Rahu De, Govind Ghya, Koni Gopal Ghya, MoruchiMavshi are some of the plays he has directed.He acted in Goshtatashigamtishi. Zee Natya Gaurav Award 2015 and Akhil Bhartiy Natya Parishad - Special Prize have been bestowed upon him.
