Pappanamcode Lakshmanan 6 December 1936 – 3 January 1998 was an Indian film director, scriptwriter, and lyricist in Malayalam movies during the 1970s and 1980s. Since childhood, Lakshmana has been writing poems. His work through local art committees brought him to the theater. He spent nine years there, gaining talent in dramatics, songwriting, and composition.
Since then, he has written plays for other professional theater groups. He worked for around 100 Malayalam movies. Pappanamkode Lakshmanan entered the cinema industry by writing the song "Salkaladevadan ..." in the 1967 film Indulekha. And He wrote the keyhole.
He has acted in a film formed on a film.s with the areas of his contribution including lyrics, script, story, and dialogue. Pappanamkodu Lakshmanan's last film to hit the theatres was Manushya Mrugam (1980) in the year 1980.
