KC George Kattappana

K C George is a talented scriptwriter from Mollywood hailing from Kattappana, a beautiful town in the Idukki district of Kerala. He is commonly known as KC. He has written scripts for both movies and plays. K C George Kattapana has secured an award for the best playwright at the Kerala Drama Awards 2009, organized by Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Academy, an initiative by the Kerala state government.

The name of his award-winning drama is “Kumaran oru Kudumbanaathan”. “Thambanoor Railway Station”, is his famous comedy serial, where he effortlessly blended politics and humor in a subtle fashion, leaving a remarkable impact on the audience. His talent also bagged him various credits to his name, including the N N Pillai Award, A K Lohithadas Award, S L Puram Award, and E M S Memorial Award.

His statement regarding Politics gained attention on social media platforms, where he stated that Politicians should never take up the profession of acting. According to him, a Politician is someone who can influence people and bring progress and development to society. He is against the idea of Politicians becoming actors, as acting involves the ability to manipulate based on situations, which leaves the people with a sense of mistrust in political activities. His vision of a politician is someone who is genuine in his actions and words.

He believes that the people’s representative must be trustworthy to whom the masses can entrust their concerns and issues. He also added that a true politician should never be inclined to any political party but rather should dedicate his life to the welfare of people and society without any political boundaries. Along with his ideologies regarding Politics, he is a true artist whose love for writing scripts for plays never ends.
