Thomas(Tom) is a Director/Actor born on July 26, 1980, to Devasya and Merikutty at Kainakari in Alappuzha district. Tom had primary education at Government LP School Pandi, St Xavier's UP School, and Lourdesmata High School. He then graduated from Edathva St. Aloysius College and completed his PG in Financial Management from Annamalai University. During his studies, he was active in art activities, including mime. In 2012, Tom entered the film industry by producing the 101 Questions directed by Siddharth Siva. He also played a role in that film. Subsequently, Kochavva also acted in the films Paolo Ayyappa Coelho, the anthology movie Magic Moments, and the multilingual film Puthar.
Tom himself was the production designer of Puter. He has also acted in the films Samara and Janaganamana. Tom, who is also a dubbing artist, lends voice to characters in Telugu and Tamil movies dubbed into Malayalam. Tom has done many notable works, including providing the voice for actor Suman in the Malayalam dubbing of the Tamil film Legend. Besides films, Tom has also produced a documentary called Sara, Taha, Taufiq. Tom is happily married and has a wife named Soumya. They have five children, Savio, Jeremiah, Josiah, Stefano, and Cristiano.Â
