Jagjeet Sandhu

Jagjeet Sandhu is a well-known Indian actor and a theater performer. Jagjeet was born on the 8th June1991. He was born and brought up in Himmatgarh Chhana, a small village in Fatehgarh district, Punjab. He has a degree in Masters of Theatres from the Punjab University, Chandigarh. He did theatres for more than fifteen years. Jagjeet involved himself in acting when he was seven years old. His talent got recognized by the authorities of his school, and he got an opportunity to get himself enrolled in the theatre production company of the neighboring city. Jagjeet has performed during his school days and received Rs 50, every time he performed. It made him feel joyous. His burning desire to act came to the flames, and he went on to do something much better.

In the year 2015, Jagjeet's years of dedication became fruitful when he bagged the iconic role of Bhola in the movie Rupinder Gandhi, which was a massive superhit. It was his first movie. It was the icing to his filmy career. In 2015, his character Speed in the Qissa Punjab provided him with recognition. His film Anatomy of Violence, released in 2016, got showcased at the Toronto International Film Festival. Jagjeet's character in the movie "Sufna" - a romance-based film, released in 2020, got appreciated and applauded. He also gained popularity with his role Tope Singh in the Amazon Prime online web series Paatal Lok. He has worked in other projects like Rabb Da Radio, Rocky Mental, Sajjan Singh Rangroot, Kaka Ji, Shada, and many more. Jagjeet Sandhu has worked predominantly in the Hindi and Punjabi film industry.

In the year 2018, he got nominated for the Best Comic roles by the PTC Punjab Film Awards. Jagjeet is staying at Chandigarh and performs theatre with the Centre of Music Performing Arts, Natya Yatris. Jagjeet has expertise in the comedy genre and is a great comedian. Jagjeet always wanted to prove that an actor can perform anything if he knows how to make another laugh (comedy).
