Kayden Kleinhans

Adventure traveler and filmmaker Kayden Kleinhans are the brains behind the Reboot Retreat project. Kayden has advocated for several environmental organizations related to climate change issues by traveling more than 1.5 times around the globe on human energy. His adventurous trips through places like the Sahara desert, the Andes, and the Himalayas are featured in his television series Global Wheeling, which is shown to millions of viewers worldwide on TV channels including Discovery and History channel. Since 2010, Kayden's love of the outdoors and conservation has brought him several environmental honors. This outdoorsy, adventurous lifestyle had evolved, and one that he was now so accustomed to living was incredibly therapeutic. Still, it wasn't until the epidemic hit and lockdown rolled in that it became so apparent to him.

When these things were taken away, he could feel himself slipping into despair, unable to fall asleep, and feeling out of sorts as he was forced to spend more time indoors and in front of screens and further off from being in tune with nature. He recently got back on a bike and pedaled 800 km through some of South Africa's most picturesque scenery while also walking 100 kilometers. He once more realized the transformative benefits and therapeutic effects of such a lifestyle by fusing diverse traditional practices like meditation and yoga with self-propelled adventure activities in stunning natural wilderness places.

He created the Reboot Retreat concept to spread this enchantment and its significant effects on his sense of health and general well-being. He believed it was a lovely gift to help people realign with their mission and rediscover clarity and vigor in a supportive community-held environment during great struggle and uncertainty.
