. The narrative takes place in a Maharashtra village. The story follows as a mother searching for suitable wives for her four sons who are still bachelors. The myths, values, and methods of life in rural Maharashtra are all explained to the audience. The sole female in the household and mother of four, Rukmani, is fervently hoping for her boys to wed. However, because the elder son's wedding plans are frequently interrupted, the others must wait in line. In episode 1, due to a dream, Prabhakar awakens and tumbles out of bed as there is a water shortage; his mother tells him to get up and fill buckets. When she tries to wake up Prabhakar's siblings, she understands it is a waste of effort. The show attempts to showcase the prejudices about the culture and its daughter-in-law's quest. It is pretty loved by the audience as it represents reality.
