Jilla - Tamil Teasers, Trailers, Video & Songs
Jilla is a Tamil crime-action drama film directed and written by R. T. Neason. The story revolves around the Madurai crime syndicate with most of the emphasis on Shakthi, played by Vijay, as a gangster turned police-officer.
The soundtrack for the movie received critical acclaim. The trailer is a video on the making of one of the songs of the film. ‘Kandangi Kandangi’ is a love song written by Vairamuthu. Vijay, along with Shreya Ghoshal, performed the melody. Shreya’s enchanting soprano mixed with Vijay’s unique voice makes this one a great success. The trailer gives us a sneak-peek into the music studio with clips of both the artists recording the music. The video employs split frames to give us multiple views of the singers, the lyricists, and the producers.
The starting tune for the song has a folksy characteristic to it. The voice of Vijay gives the music a drawling and lovestruck vibe. Some of the clips of the music video gives us a glimpse on the setting, the costumes, and the dance sequences. Kajal Aggarwal plays the lead female role in the film and her performance in the clips are well executed. The song’s location for the shoot appears to be a Japanese shrine and includes the elements in the way of its costumes, the background sets, and the extras used. The movie along with its soundtrack received a lot of positive reviews and is another notch in the actors’ belt.
