). The film then turns our attention to a simple village girl named Tripura (played by Swathi), she starts getting some weird dreams, which later become reality. Her dad fearing that it might be a medical condition appoints a psychiatrist (played by

). After some time, this patient-doctor pair falls for each other and eventually get hitched. Post wedding life for both of them seems great, until one fateful day when Tripura dreams of stabbing her husband. Knowing that all her earlier dreams became a reality, she is terrified. Why does she get this dream? Was Naveen hiding something from her? One will have to wait until the end to find out.
Analysis: The expectations from the movie are a lot, particularly because Raj Kiran’s earlier movie ‘Geethanjali’ was a blockbuster. The start of the flick is pretty promising; the murder mystery sets up the entire movie solidly. But it’s all downhill from there; the entire film is disappointing. Naveen has given a below par performance. Swathi has tried very hard to fit in this role, but knowing that she is a bubbly and vibrant girl, one feels that the casting was not thought through. Swathi gives it her all to prove that she is this simple girl-next-door, which we all know she isn’t. The climax is superb and the suspense is mind boggling, and the background score lends to this climax.
Star Performances: This movie has very few stand out performances. The music direction is one of them; background scores play a huge role in a horror/thriller, and Kamran has done a tremendous job with it, though there is an irrelevant song, rest of the music is terrific.

What’s there?
• Strong performances by Shakalaka, Jayprakash, Pooja and Ramesh.
• Great music by Kamran.
• Powerful climax execution.
• Cinematography and art are also very well implemented.
What’s not there?
• Poor performances by the lead actors Swathi and Naveen.
• Screenplay is also not up to the mark.
• Comedy is put in even when the primary focus of that scene must be horror.
• Saptagiri has gone overboard in a lot of scenes, even when a ghost attacks him he has time to put in some of his double meaning punchlines.
• Direction could have been a lot better.
Verdict: This film is a mediocre addition to the recently blossoming horror-comedy genre. The story is weak, the performances of the lead actors are bad and their direction is poor as well. One should watch this film only if one has nothing better to do.
